What is raised foil?
Raised foil is a metallic coating applied in a raised layer above the card surface. It creates a reflective, embossed look you can feel with your fingertips.
Can foil be applied on both sides?
Yes. Foil is applied to one side as standard, but we can also apply it to both sides with a custom quote.
What file setup is required?
In addition to your front and back artwork, you’ll need a foil mask file. The mask is a simple black-and-white design: black areas indicate where the foil should appear, and white areas remain uncoated.
What’s the turnaround time?
Raised Foil cards typically take 10–14 business days to complete because of the extra finishing steps.
Which stock should I choose?
